electrosis 10-09-04, 09:53 AM	Okay quick question. Say I have a player that has 15 levels in wizard he then goes archmage does the familiar use the levels in archmage to improve his familiar? Same thing for druid, ranger, paladin, and sorcerer prestige classes. Is there any kind of ruling on this somewhere I was unable to find one? I have a player who is going paladin and plans to take a Paladin like prestige class but the prestige class says nothing about a special mount so would his mount just cease to increase in power due to his deviation from the core class?
gbnogkfs 10-09-04, 03:58 PM	read the description for each of those class features (it's really simple, indeed) and you would end up that, unless the PrCs say something different, they don't improve.
