Anime Style Character Class [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-04-05, 08:13 PM I have already posted on the What's a Player to do Board? and was redirected here...so I'll ask here.

In short, I need to make my own character class and I am having trouble coming up with a good, yet not overpowered, solution. It is supposed to be an anime based RPG where we can base our characters off of others. I was thinking about Himura Kenshin and I've been reading up on some of the samurai stuff in OA and other sources although I want to incorporate some of his special abilities. For example, I don't know how much damage or what effects a shockwave launched through the ground might do or how to make an attack that attacks 9 points of the human body at the same time to make you unable to defend although it would probably be a high level special ability.

No time to look at link bu if that is its primary attack bace it off of a warlock class

02-05-05, 04:14 AM Well, a friend of mine made a hiten mitsurugi (Sp?) 10 lvl prestige class, and has been using it in our current campaign. It seems fairly balanced to me, and we've played through from him first starting out in the class to now having 10 lvls in it, and wondering where to go next. Just last month we started work on an Epic advancement of it, but I'm not sure how that'll work out. I'll ask him to come on and post up the class, see what people think of it.

Personally, I think it works well.

02-05-05, 11:13 AM look at my thread (need help). im basically done making kenshin with help. it looks pretty good and you could probably base a core class off of it.
