Another Barbarian rage question [Archive] - Wizards Community

I know this must have been asked a thousand times but the search function of the boards is down and I've tried to do a specific search with google but without success.

So here it goes: when a barbarian rages it gives a +4 unnamed bonus to strengh and Constitution. And unnamed bonus stack with every other bonus (except itself), right?

So a barbarian who rages and drinks a potion of bull strengh (+4 enhancement bonus to Str) and a potion of bear's endurance (+4 enhancement bonus to Con) would have a grand total of +8 to strengh and +8 to Constitution (:eek: youch).

Even though it's only for a limited duration, that seems a tad to powerful to me...

yes but it is correct as far as i know and a very good way to get a tank in the team :)

04-06-05, 12:36 PM No, not really. This is only +4 more than any other character, that drinks a potion of bull's strength and bear's endurance.

Of course, bears endurence is good for barbs because it increases the rages duration.

04-06-05, 12:37 PM You are correct that they do stack. It is quite a lot, but as you said, it's only for a short period of time, so it's not like Barbarians are going to use it all the time, especially because it requires a spell and Barbarians can't cast spells by themselves.
