| bookcollecter04-22-06, 09:58 PM | im playing a ranger with a small or medium viper as an animal companion, preferably a marsh or swamp species. i have a hipporgriff mount that can only fly with 300lbs and im 200 myself so i need to keep a close eye on gear and weight. can any one fill me in on length and weight of, what would be considered, small or medium vipers? |

As far as weight, no idea. My advice would be to find a snake page or three on the web and see what sort of data you can collect on how large/heavy snake X can get, and then use an average scaled down to the size of your snake. The more "viper-y" the snake, the better, as far as comparisons go... Think cobra, not anaconda or boa. |
