Hey, I was wondering if there were any artificer like classes that could create constructs such as golems and could ultimately be able to make artifacts? The closest thing that I found was this link http://www.szonye.com/bradd/d20/classes/master-artificer.html The problem is that its third edition and doesnt even utilize use magic device. Any suggestions? ;)

The psionic artificer (in RoE I think, or MoE) gets the Craft Psionic Construct instead of the Forge Ring feat. It wouldn't be too out there if you take the Craft Magical Construct instead.

If you don't mind prestige classes there is the one in Complete Arcane and another in one of the Forgotten Realms books.

Yeah i'm not really into psionics but I'll give that a look see. Can someone help me convert this master artificer class? Should I change the requirments to 13 (any craft), 8 (knowledge Arch+Engin), 8 (Arcana)? Should I add use magic device to the class? If I do should I change the classes weird spell casting progression? Any help is appreciated.

I was simply referencing that psionic artificer has craft psionic construct. You could easily replace the arcane artificer's forge ring w/ craft magical construct. Or you could even simply take the craft magical construct feat from you clvl bonus feats. After all, there is no limit saying that artificer can only craft things that he gains bonus feats only. Iirc, there is even a craft living construct feat somewhere ( I think it's MoI).
