I'm am playing as a 4th level rogue and wanting to become an Invisible Blade. It will take me another three levels to reach that. However, I have heard rumor that there was a mistake in Complete Warrior and the Invisible Blade was stuck with some unimportant Prerequisites. They are far shot and point blank shot, which seem redundant to me because they are for bows and the IB uses daggers. If there has been a change to those Prereqs. please let me know so I can inform my DM.

there hasn't been any official change, but consensis from people who make the game (we the players) is that these feats aughta be chaged. I suggest Combat expertis and improved fient, instead of PBS and that other one, fits the flavor much better

It doesn't look like there's any official errata on it, unfortunately. Getting rid of the prerequisite ranged feats for its prerequisites is a no-brainer, though. Swapping them out for appropriate feats like Improved Feint seems appropriate, as does simply removing those prerequisites entirely. It's only a five-level class, after all.

Well, it may be that the I.B. was designed to swap those "bad" feats for the class features and swapping them out for "more correct" feats according to a player is likely what they tried to avoid when they designed the class.

Actually the original Invisible blade was a 10 level PrC with several ranged throwing abilities.

The prerequisites the original author of the class recommended without the ranged stuff was Weapon Focus (dagger, etc) and Weapon Finesse.
