Any good prestige chars for a barbarian/ranger? [Archive] - Wizards Community

If you are a dwarf I would look carefully at the Deepwarden from Races of Stone. In addition to d12 hit points, 6 skill points per level and 2 good saves (WIll and Fort) the class allwos you to use CON for AC instead of DEX. This removes the -2 AC penalty when you rage (because your CON goes up by 4).

Another decent option is Horizon Walker (desert) from the DMG. The ability to no longer be fatigued after raging is occasionally really nice.

And, while not mechanically good, I always had a soft spot for Bear Warrior from the Complete Warrior.
