Is there any good PRC's that could possibly benefit a crossed class Sorc/Cleric? Any help would be appreciated.

Probably the Mystic Theurge. You need to be able to cast 2nd level arcane spells and 2nd level divine spells. It then gives you full casting in both cleric and sorcerer spells for 10 levels. So as a Cleric 3/Sorcerer 4/MT 10, you would be the equivalent of a Cleric 13/Sorcerer 14.

Geomancer from complete divine is the only one I can think of. IMO it thematically works best as Druid/Sorcerer but would work with Cleric/Sorcerer. Mechanically (like most Arcane PrC) they work better as Wizard.

All the best,

The Mystic Theurge always confused me....so would I gain both spells per day and spells known? Would I basicly be gaining two caster levels for each level I gain? I'm a bit confused on it.

Right. Say you are a Cleric 3/Sor 4. At 8th level you take Mystic Theurge. You basically gain the spell casting ability of a Cleric 4/Sor 5, but are still only an 8th level character, not 9th. You do not get better at turning undead and your familiar (if any) does not improve. For penetrating spell resistance and the like, you still use the (adjusted) caster level of the class the spell is cast from. So even though you are 8th level, if you are casting Magic Missile at a Demon, you only roll 1d20+5 to penetrate its SR, NOT 1d20+8.

I like to combine Mystic Theurge and Geomancer... select Mystic Theurge as your previous spellcasting class with Geomancer and continue to gain cleric and wizard levels in spellcasting... but thats just the munchkin in me.

If there isn't something in the rules prohibiting that, there should be, and therefore, if interpreting according to the spirit of the rules, there is.

In order to remain on topic, yes, the Mystic Theurge is more or less designed to give a benefit to any arcane-divine combination. There are other classes that will help as well, but none that I can think of that will help as much.

Possibly Arcane Devotee from the Forgotten Realms books... otherwise I concur with the general consensus.
