ZeshinX 01-29-07, 04:39 PM	Hey all Since I've noticed there is no handy search feature at the moment, I was wondering if anyone knew of any official/unofficial PrCs for a Warlock/Psion or Warlock/Psychic Warrior. A Warlock/Psion theurge PrC really fires my imagination, and I may just create one myself, but wanted to see if the community knew of any already out there. I mean the Eldritch Theurge in Complete Mage was superhumancrazyman powergamed enough, but a Warlock/Psion Theurge is like munchkinizing (I don't think thats a word, oh well) to the max! I feel that both of these base classes are pretty ridiculous to start with... Then again, maybe I'm just being foolish, but something in my gut says this is dangerous! Oh well I give up :surrender
mittenninja 01-30-07, 03:01 AM	I would agree if psionics were still as overpowered as they were back in 2nd edition. But they are, imo, actually very well balanced compared to the magic system in 3.5. Using the theurge classes already present it shouldnt be too hard to come up with one mixing psionics and invocations.

I feel that both of these base classes are pretty ridiculous to start with... Well I'm certainly not looking to munchkinize. I just like the flavor that a PrC like this would create. I don't think I've ever really looked at a class/PrC simply for how much power it will bring (I look at it critically enough to try and avoid classes/PrCs that really stink, but even then, if I like the role-play flavor, that's usually enough for me). The Hexblade is a good example. While the general consensus seems to be that it is a weak class, I like it simply on the flavor aspect of role-playing one. For a warlock/psion theurge, I'd be more interested in seeing a cool mixing of the existing class abilities, as opposed to just having invocation level/manifester level progression. Twisting an Eldritch Blast to add a power effect to it, imbue device with a psionic power, etc. The role-play alone for a warlock/psion PrC intrigues me to no end. As inward facing types, a psion likely has a very intimate view of the nature of his warlock powers. That alone has enormous potential for role-playing. T'would be much fun me thinks. :D
