| Ekko01-12-08, 11:26 PM | I've been browsing through Monte Cook's Arcana Evolved and thinking about the Runethane class there. From as far as I can tell, taking the first 20 (out of 25) levels of it, as is, could easily be a balanced and fun base class for standard DnD. The only thing I see needing changing is removing 7th level spells (no other secondary caster gets them) and giving them their own spell list (as opposed to the common "Simple Spells" in AE). But...I might be wrong. I've been so on several occasions, especially with class design. For those of you who have the book, can you give me some insight into the balance of the Runethane? |
