| MadMan05-23-04, 11:26 PM | If the Arcane Archers bonus to arrows is an enhancement bonus (which does not stack), the class isnt any good until high levels because most likely a character focused on archery is already going to have a magical bow. Am I wrong here??? I want to play the class but the Enhance Arrow bonus not stacking just doesnt make it worth it. Anyone know of any errata on that??? lol |

Now to get the most out of the ability you should use a regular bow and use your funds for other important equipment. At higher levels find a bow that uses special abilities such as frost, flaming, seeking, and others on a bow with a +1 enhancement. The +1 doesn't stack with your arrows but all the other abilities are granted to the arrow when fired. This makes your weapon more effective at a lower price than would otherwise be the case. For example: Instead of a +2 bow you could use a +1 frost bow with free +2 arrows from your AA and have the same chance to hit and do an additional 1d6 damage using equipment that is priced the same. In short the Arcane Archer can skimp on her bows enhancement bonus and use them on other abilities. Also, free magical cold iron arrow can blessing at times. |
