| hero_411-01-04, 02:28 PM | Lvl 7 Ranger, Archery Based Halfling Nuetral 10 str 20 dex 12 Con 12 Int 16 Wis 7 Cha I'm seeking a class to augment my archery, but also do a bit of seraching/detecting my mundane or mystical means. at this point, the only thing i can think of is to jsut be a ranger rouge, but i really wanted something with a mystical twist. I've torn through all of the DnD books i could find, and even went back to 3.0 to keep looking. there are a number of them that i found interesting, but i didnt meant the alignment requirements. Any suggestions/paths suggested would be appreciated. Thanks. |

| hero_411-01-04, 04:37 PM | I looked at order of the bow, and at present, i can do 3d6 peircing and 3d6 fire as a full roudn attack at a max range of at present 199 ft. the 8 dmg added bythe initiate means i'm using a standard action, meaning 1d6 peirce, 1d6 fire, and 1d8 peirce, at a range of 30. unless i'm misunderstanding it or missign soemthing. i do greatly appreciate the advise tho! |

Whats the OoBI really Excels at is shot on the run - move, attack, move. And shoot for 50+ dmg per hit forcing fort saves due to massive Dmg. Also - since your geting alot of OOmpf out of 1 arrow - you have more incentive to use better magical arrows - where usualy, when you busting through 5 of em a round or so - its insanely expensive. Look to make 1 really big hit every round, rahter then more smaller ones. |
