If an Archivist was to learn "Elemental Swarm" from a scroll written by someone with the Air domain, would he likewise be restricted to only summoning air elementals?
(and thusly restricted, if from one with the Earth domain, or Fire doman, or whatnot?)

Absent any actual ruling on it, what would your opinions be? :)

05-23-07, 10:52 AM RAW I think not. But it is an easy and perfectly fair house rule.

05-23-07, 10:55 AM I think it would be interesting, myself.. if somewhat problematic when it came to paperwork.

Especially if you browse through all the Doman spells and see just how many of them are restricted.
there are alot of "fire only" or "evil only" or "X only" type spells, that restrict the Caster.
