Archivist? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-24-06, 11:07 PM I have been hearing alot about the Archivist and I just looked at it. Is the Archivist a good class? I know that all classes are good but do you, the masses, like the class? Any XPs or stories with them?

12-25-06, 01:27 AM Any divine casting class that gets away from the religious stereotypes is okay in my book. This one is even better, since it synergizes so well with the wizard into Mystic Theurge.

12-25-06, 08:23 AM I first was opposed to this class, because it seemed just a adaption of Unearthed Arcanas Cloistered Cleric.

My DM talked me into playing one, though. Now I think it is a nice class. The wizardish casting system suits the lore collector image the Archivists better than the cleric way of knowing all PHB spells.

I still don't know about the other class features, though. I didn't have the opportunity yet to use them.
