Starmage21 12-06-05, 04:05 PM	because its a small dip away from main class. it doesnt have epic levels because it isnt a 10 level PrC, which is prerequisite to having an epic progression.
runestar 12-06-05, 09:10 PM	Because its stupid to want to continue an epic progression in a prc that costs you 1 spell slot/lv taken. What's the use of all those nifty powers if you are eventually left with no slots to cast your vastly improved spells from? And given the extremely limited list of archmage powers to choose from, you really will not want more than 2-3 lvs in archmage.
