Okay, I've been playing around with an idea for a priest. It's sort of similar to the favor soul, but I think a little more cleric. The main advantages is that it has more skill points then a cleric, and doesn't necesarily turn undead, a cool ability, but one that I don't like, since the deities don't all care about undead, one way or another. Here it is

Archon
A relgious person who lives in an area where there are few people, or who's relgions conflict with that of the wanderer.

Alignment: Within one step of dieties, if wanderer worships a diety.
Abilities. Wisdom above all else.
Skills: Concentration, Craft, Diplomacy, Gather Information, Handle Animal, Heal, Knowledge (Local, Geography and Religion) Listen, Perform, Profession, Sense Motive, Speak Language, Spellcraft, Spot, Survive, Swim and Use Rope
Skills 4 + intelligence

Feature

Domains. At first level,Archons can choice 3 domains from the domains that the diety has plus the domains of Healing, Protection, Travel, Magic and Knowledge. At fourth level, and every 4 levels after that, the Wanderer can choice a new domain, and gains all the abilities that are included with the domain.
Spell casting. Archons casts all their spells without needing to prepare them before hand, much like sorcerers and favored souls. They are considered divine spells, and the Archon must have a Wisdom of 10+ to cast them. Wisdom also effects the difficulty class and the bonus spells a wanderer can use. The archon's spell list is limited to the domains he/she knows, plus all 0 level spells normally in the clerics spell list. So at 1 level, the Archon knows all the spells from the 3 domains chosen. At 4th level, the wanderer knows all the spells from the 4 domains chosen, and so on. This list will never change.

AC Bonus, THis is just like the Monks ability, the Archons adds his wisdom bonus to the armour class when not using armour or shields. This bonus goes up 1 every 5 levels.

Feats.
Archons know how to use all simple weapons and their diety's favored weapons. They do not know how to use any sort of armour or shield.

This is far from complete and has not been tested at all. The biggest problem so far is that the wanderer is so dependent on Wisdom. This is more of a what if. If you would like to use it, or find some ways to improve, please write it down, all comments are welcome.

11-12-04, 02:42 PM I'll give it a second look if you'll re-organize it to be much more easily read. Right now, the chart is a mess, though I see all good saves, which scares me already.

11-14-04, 02:25 PM Wow. That is a messy chart. That is also a lot of domains. Most gods don't even have the ability to cast from as many domains as these guys! The most domains I've seen is maybe four,five... They get too many domains, I think. IMO, they should be able to improve the domains they have instead, like for healing get an extra +1 caster level, or for death get an extra d6, or something like that.

11-14-04, 06:32 PM I'm still working on clearing it all up. I agree that there are a lot of domains, but as soon as I clear it all up, tommorrow hopefully, it will become clearer.
