Are their any classes with Chimeras? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-03-07, 03:40 PM Is there a core class that let you have a Chimera as companion? Is there any classes that could help me get a Chimera as a companion faster that others? Are there any PrC classes that could help with this or deal with Chimeras? I love Chimeras! Thank you for helping!

08-03-07, 03:46 PM With the Leadership feat you could get a chimera as a cohort. Youd need to be, I think, level 13 or better.

I dont know that Ive seen and chimera-specific classes though.

08-03-07, 04:19 PM The Chimera has 9d10 HD and a LA +2 so dose that mean I have to be level 12 to get it as a cohort?

08-03-07, 04:30 PM Sure : the Beast Heart Adept of Dungeonscape. You can get a first at 5th level, and a second at 9th level.

Since you can enter the class at 6th level, it means you can have a chimera companion when you hit 10th character level.

Perhaps a blackguard could get a chimera companion. I think DMG has the rules for giving them more powerful creatures.

08-03-07, 07:27 PM Beast Totem and Totem Companion in the Eberron Campaign Setting can get you a Chimera.

Un ranger est idéal. La classe ne fait pas progresser les sorts et a un BAB parfait, donc autant suivre la voie du ranger pour commencer.
