| ccubed05-09-05, 11:14 PM | I'm still new to 3.5 edition, so please be gentle. My friends and I tried to get a group going about a year ago when we first got the core books, but it kind of petered out. But I was very intrigued by some of the shapeshifting spells/class abilities. The obvious choice is Druid, I guess, but I'm not a fan of the animal/plant/elemental forms. I'm looking for more diversity, or if not more diversity, more of a focus on monsters, demons, angels, and those kinds of creatures. The next choice would seem to be using Alter Self/Polymorph/Shapechange from a Wizard or Sorcerer base, but I can't stand Arcane Magic. I'd really like a Clerical Shapeshifter. Divine magic that isn't nature based, transformation magics/abilities that are, again, not nature based, and spell casting that isn't arcane based. So are there any classes out there in the optional books or possibly combinations of character classes that might give me the flavor I'm looking for? Thanks in advance. |
