Are there any DnD games going on online? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-20-06, 11:21 AM Im wondering if there is a website where people can play DnD online. I live in Turkey and I dont know anyone that plays DnD. I'd really like to play again so if anyone could help me find a place where I can play with others via chat room or something I'd really appreciate it.

07-20-06, 11:55 AM Yeah I'd like to know about that to since there aren't any people I know in Brampton, Ontario that play D&D and I want to get into it.

Play by post: a lot of forums have forums like this that allow you to meet other players and play a post ata time. I've never done this.

Another option are virtual tabletops such as Fantasy Grounds, Klooge, and a few others. I just started Fantasy grounds and it is going good so far. I can't speak for Klooge but the community in Fantasy Grounds appears quite willing to accept new players into their group.

07-20-06, 04:44 PM Here's a network of roleplay forums. You have to register on the network, and then request to join games. There's many to choose from! Most DnD games are under fantasy. It's also got a dice roller!

07-20-06, 05:37 PM The Giant in the Playground (www.giantitp.com) is home to The Order of the Stick, a D&D based webcomic, as well as forums dedicated to Play by Post RPGs. Most of them are D&D 3.5, but you'll also find the occasional Freeform, 2E, GURPS, etc.
