are there illusinist? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Wizards and sorcerers can cast illusion spells. Wizards can specialise in illusions. However, they are not very good at thief skills.

Rogues have excellent thief skills but can't cast spells.

However, you can play a multi-classed character such as a Rogue / Wizard and combine the two.

There is a prestige class in the Dungeon Master's Guide called the Arcane Trickster who combines the rogue and wizard classes, but you need to choose the correct skills and spells to qualify for this.

Yes, they are called Wizards. Specifically, Specialist Wizards who have chosen the School of Illusion as their Specialty school.

I suggestyou read up on Specialist Wizards in the PHB. ^_^
