| SalParadise05-28-06, 09:44 AM | Two fixes, both potentially broken, asking for insight: - Arcane Trickster (other miscellaneous prestige classes in the same vein): Rather than cast spells of X level (in this case, arcane third), change the requirement to caster level Y, where Y is the level a wizard could first cast that spell level at (in this case, 5th). The benefits would be such that classes like Warlock could enter, as well as not screwing over Sorcerors with the 1-level-lower progression so they could enter a casting prestige class quicker. - Spell-Thief: When gaining a level in a PrC with +1 arcane caster level, while not gaining other class abilities, they would gain regular increases in how many spells they could steal as well as their spell progression. Perhaps limit the choice to one or the other? Would this break the class? The ability to multi-class would be nice, but I'm wondering if there's abuse potential in the change... |
