| shadow_brian2205-04-07, 04:21 PM | ok i was looking in the Ebberron campaign setting book and saw a few feats that you can take multiple times to stack effects. Legendary Artisan (-25% XP cost each time taken) Extraordinary Atisan (-25% GP cost each time taken) and Exceptional Artisan (-25% time to make each time taken) all for magic items. If you take two flaws from unearthed arcana, and full levels of Artificer, then you can make any item you are able to make with-out gold, XP, AND instant... I personally think that may be a little bit broken. am i wrong on this? |
| CassandraR05-04-07, 04:25 PM | You can only take the feats once. So no free magic items. :) |

| FreAkOuTRG05-04-07, 04:54 PM | Check the Errata. Nerfed. |
| Chimaera200005-04-07, 05:28 PM | Agreed. When I see something that seems completely overpowered like crafting items for free, I like to check the errata (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/rules)first. Sometimes WotC realizes their mistake and corrects it, as they did with this. Other times (like with the Warshaper's Morphic Weapons ability), they don't do a thing. :( |
| shadow_brian2205-04-07, 07:25 PM | awww, that would have been so cool to do. then again, what the DM or the other players dont know dont hurt them lol :) |
| nytemare370105-04-07, 08:45 PM | actually, it DOES hurt them. you're going to end up with a ton of magic items at no cost, breaking the entire campaign. is it really worth it? |
