| doink121202-01-07, 10:53 AM | The Armored Mage alternative class from the Complete Mage (pg 32) is explained, but not very well. Ive been reading the same paragraph for a month now and i still can't get heads or tails of it. Anybody? |
| Puca02-01-07, 10:58 AM | Which paragraph? I though it was pretty simple: You take a level or fighter. You give up proficiency in medium and heavy armor, and tower shields IIRC, and you get to ignore ASF of light armor. What did I miss? |

I thought the alternative class implied you obtained some kind of spells, while keeping your weapon proficiencies simlar to the stalwart sorceror alternative class. |

| Puca02-01-07, 01:51 PM | Right. It doesnt let you cast spells. It helps you only when and if you have the ability to cast from another source. |
