Articifer - xp dilema [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-21-07, 01:40 PM Is there an item or some method outside of killing a crazy amount of critters to get an xp reserve to craft from. I'm in a RP heavy game and I want to make cool constructs but aside from buying a magic item I don't want in the first place just to suck away its xp and make it useless seems like kind of a waste.

any ideas?

11-21-07, 04:03 PM Many. There are the story xp reward amongst them. DMG has a some possibilities listed. If you are in a RP heavy campaign, each RP'd encounter could potentially earn xp if your DM is sensible enough.

11-21-07, 05:15 PM Get the Legendary Artisan feat. It reduces XP crafting costs by 25%.
