I am sure this has been asked and answered before but I tried to google search it and didnt come up with anything. now the Q: Are Artificer's required to spend arcane material components or focus on infusions that simulate spells? I understand they need to use material components... but if the spell they are simulating says arcane material component do they need to have that? Since they dont cast arcane or divine spells I am not sure they are required to have to have a pearl for example in identify, since that is an arcane material component and not simply a material component. You wouldnt expect them to have to have a divine focus or anthing? How about spells that have an arcane focus?
