| Frozeman11-08-07, 04:30 AM | The artificer class from the eberron setting has a number of infusions with a long casting time, and a provision for action points to speed things up, has anyone tried using artificers in a setting without APs? Are there any rules to make provisions for this, or if not, what have you done to deal with this? Thanks. |
| HiQKid11-08-07, 04:39 PM | We had one once. The DM just gave him the equivalent action points (of a character of that level) except he could only spend them to use infusions quickly, no other use of them. Seemed to work okay for us. YMMV |

YMMV That sounds like it favors the Artificer - you're giving it a benefit (access to APs) that no other class will have. If you go that route, I suggest you take something away from the Artificer in return. It is one of the strongest classes in the game, and doesn't need a power boost. |
