okay, i was reading the magical items portion of this thread and it brought up an interesting question.

If you need to set up the first hour of crafting as the Dedicated Wright says in it's discription, then you must be in teh portable hole with the lab inside of it, no? And if you're human, normally, of 4th level, you can't breath, as that is why they mention the Wright not needed to breath being good for this.

So how is it possible to make this set up if you can't breath within the hole? And lets assume no items which casue you to not need to breathe are involved.

Just don't fold up the hole. Air will get through then, since the inside is exposed. After the hour, fold it up and move on.

Pretty simple, when you think about it. Have fun!

Oy. Thank you. This is a case of "I should have read the item" type deal. I assumed it was a matter of being in the extraplaner dimention or not and that air was not in there or something.

Thanks. That answers me perfectly.

works perfectly fine for a warforged artificer. Carry a portable lab in your bagpack, with workers.
