assasin needs help [Archive] - Wizards Community

It's good to get your intelligence up and get an Assassin's Dagger (or two) for a higher death attack DC. Besides death attack, there isnt a huge difference between improving an assassin and improving a rogue.

11-26-05, 09:33 PM He is an evil giant assasin. His background is, he is the hit man for a giant clan. He is really small compared to a regular giant. I want him to be unseen and good with poisons.

11-27-05, 12:36 AM Multiclass w/Ninja instead of a rogue, but that really won't change it much. Assassin already gets those abilities.

Not much for poisons besides poison use and craft (poisonmaking)

Personally, I make my assassins good at stealing things as well so they dont have to spend so much money on poison and equipment.

11-27-05, 10:53 AM The Shadow Dancer would be a pretty good prc, seening as how it allows him to hide in plain sight, also think about giving him some arcane spellcasting, this would allow you to use reduce person, and give you a better chance at hiding. I guess you could also give him a ring a spell storing if you want to go that way.

11-27-05, 11:34 AM Screw the giant, go with a rakasha. they rok cause they can shapeshift and are good with magic. my sugestion is part wisard part assasin.

11-27-05, 04:13 PM you could get a level in shadowdancer, but assassins get hide in plain sight at lvl 8, so i wouldnt bother. Assassin spells are also pretty good. They dont get reduce person, but you can alter self into a Tasloi (small, +8 hide, +4 move silently, + 8 climb)

12-03-05, 12:55 AM What if I change to a half giant and added in some shadow dancer along with assasin.
Half giants are medium size but are still big.
