Hello,

I was hoping that someone would point me to some statement about what exactly an assassin can do while studying an opponent. The description states he/she can do simple actions, but what does that really include? Activating magic items? Casting spells?

I've looked for a couple of hours now and I can't find anything stating this more clearly. I'm sure it exists, but I've looked in the faq that seem appropriate and done seaches and can't find it.

Thanks!

as a house rule of mine, it usually means that you can sneak around, prepare items for use, and/or cast spells with no verbal or somatic components (silenced/stilled). you also relent to any checks that require active looking (spot, search, and in some cases listen).

hope that helps some
