Assassins spells and armor [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-14-05, 12:09 AM Hey I'm a bit new around here so I apologize if this is in the wrong place.

Does the armor penalty against casting arcane spells apply to prestige classes such as this where the character is more than likely to wear some kind of armor?

For example if my assissin is wearing leather armor, would there still be a 10% chance that any spell he casts may fail?

12-14-05, 12:26 AM It says assassins cast spells just like a bard does, so look up the bard entry if you want specifics, but this means you can wear light armour and suffer no Arcane Spell Failure (for ASSASSIN spells, not for your wizard spells if you have them, they still incur ASF)
