I was wondering if anyone would be interested in an Augmentalist class?

Basically it would be a spellcaster that forgoes offensive casting(anything requiring a DC) and instead focuses on enhancing themselves, their party members, summoning, etc.

Before I type up the class and make it all pretty let me present you with the basics and get some feedback.

The augmentalist is the premier enhancement class. Due to not having to practice exerting their will over others(offensive spells) they can more readily focus on supplementary spells. The augmentalist combines the natural talent for magic of the sorceror with the magical potency of the wizard.

Class: Augmentalist
Hit Die: d4
BaB: As Wizard.
Saves: Good will.
Class skills: Concentration, Spellcraft, and any three skills of the players choosing(these must reflect the characters background and/or personality)
Skills 4 + INT per level.

Class Overview:

-Learns spells at the rate of the wizard.
-Has the spells per day and spontaneous casting of the sorceror.
-No access to any spells with a DC.
-Charisma determines bonus spells, and ability to cast spells.
-Access to familiar.

There's the basic idea. It essentially is the melding of the sorceror and the wizard, minus the offensive spells.

Unfortunately, the class seems a little dull so if anyone wants to suggest a unique ability to flesh the class out it would be great.

Feel free to post your own variant, but try to keep the concept of no offensive spells, and the bit about having the good parts of the wiz/sorceror for being so focused.

Thanks!
