| ZeroTakenaka05-24-06, 05:46 PM | Yes... I know this is a cheap knockoff of Yuyu Hakusho but might work. First of all, I can't balance at all and I make over powered. Second of all, this class should have the flavor of a spiritually aware fighter... thereby bringing spot, listen and search as CC. Third of all, I don't care if you think this class is a copy in some way of another class. Fourth, get what I missed. Spirit Detective HD: d8 Class Skills: No Idea but these must be included. | Witch05-24-06, 05:47 PM | I don't have a clue. |
| herms05-24-06, 05:54 PM | hey i dont want to be mean but its your class so make it overpowerful with great taste and im sure some guy's will love to make it normal but first is that you have to complete it |
| MoonSprite05-24-06, 07:41 PM | First of all: Class skilss should be similar to monk BAB as monk Weapon Proficiency: either all simple plus one martial, or your own list. Less Spirit Power at starting levels. Spirit Aware could increase a couple of times. He should know 1 special per class level. Specials cost less, and doing damage equal similar to spells ranging from 1st to 6th or 7th level And yes, complete the class please. |

| belthazzar111305-24-06, 08:28 PM | after reading all your cavats i don't know why you bothered to post it. you don't want feedback, you litterally have said "hey here is my broken overpowered class, fix it but don't tell me its overpowered" umm, no. you know there are plenty of things wrong with it, so not going to spend time trying to do your own job. |
| frasmage05-25-06, 04:47 PM | Hey takenaka, I think you really should make your whole class before posting something - people don't generally like doing someone else's work for them - just a thought Now, recently I did a soul-based PrC with rudiger_smith. If you needed this class here for a campaign, you can try and use our class instead. It is called the soul priest (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=9231729) |
| Nephlite05-25-06, 05:41 PM | Psionics is the point system you should use. Your numbers seem random and out of place. I made a class like this a few years ago that was pretty balanced. But I've since lost it. Use Psychic Warrior's PP progression maybe. I'll try to redo it. Spirit Detective was only one person's job sop i'll use the name Spirit Warrior. Spirit Booster: As a swift action, sacrifice up to your manifester level in pp. For 1 round + Wisdom bonus rounds, get a +1 bonus to spirit bonus to hit/damage for every 2 pp used. Imp. Something like that might work. |
| DarkRhystar05-25-06, 06:34 PM | I don't know. Just seems to me that a Warlock could do the job of "Spirit Detective" without the need to make a new class. |
