balancing a paladin varriant [Archive] - Wizards Community

So I am making a campagin and I was wanting to rework the paladin class. I was thinking of droping its spells per day,mount, and cure disease. Adding the dragon shaman aura ability, and changing the turn undead into a pool based point system for alot of those divine feats like in the complete warrior or the players handbook 2. Wich would be simular in a way to lay on hands but instead based off of wisdom to continue to make that stat a "needed" stat for the class.

Anything guys? Would any of you consider it a differnt but just as well balanced class? Or a little under powered compaired to the orignal paladin?

While the following is not exactly what you are looking for, it is much closer than the standard paladin and you can more easily work off it:

thank you. thats deffinatly a ruler by wich to judge.

also im kinda new to the forums here and i was wondering where i could learn to use the codes to make the spread sheets he used
