nope sorry man... different sources of DR dont stack ... simply aply best one based on situation and since both are /- then just the highest number matters not the total number

Forget about Adamantine armor. Mithral is the metal for barbarians!

Adamantine armor's DR/- does not stack with the barbarian's, but mithral armor's ability to count as one category lighter for purposes of movement and other limitations lets you make the most of the a barabarian's fast movement feature.

Oh sorry, my mistake... In french it's adamantium an not admantine !! ;)

That's what I will do !! I'm playing in the Legacy of the Green Regent campaign and I will take a Mithrall Breasplate +2. It's Light and only have a Check Penalty of -1 !! :)

Mithral breastplate: 15 pounds weight, +5 AC, +5 maximum dexterity bonus to AC, -1 Armor Check Penalty, 15% arcane spell failure (if that matters), and it's considered light so there's no reduction to movement (so you can Tumble in it) and you can use fast movement too.

Base item cost: 4200 gp (includes masterwork cost). A +2 enhanced mithral breastplate costs 8200 gp.

Yeap, an all round excellent purchase by any barbarian that can get their hands on a set!
