Barbarian PH2 Variat? [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-24-07, 12:33 AM It can't be Too bad, but it may be a bit worse, it IS less to worry about though, and perfect if you only wanted a few levels for the rage anyway

02-24-07, 12:48 AM I personally think that it's worse overall. As a barbarian, I want to know when I'll be able to rage and be able to open up a tough fight as strong as possible; becoming stronger when I'm in danger of dropping seems less efficient overall.

02-24-07, 01:59 AM In a way, it sort of rewards a low Constitution, which I thought was kind of interesting. In that vein, I was thinking it might be good for an elven barb.

02-24-07, 04:39 AM If you take the PHB2 option, and then multiclass, it becomes MUCH weaker very quickly, since IIRC, it is based off class levels, when the bonus kicks in.
