Okay first lets do this.
<rant> the 3.5 DMG contains only ONE (1, uno) PRC that barbarians can get into feasibly. That one PRC is Horizon Walker, and it isn't even very well keyed to a barbarian. </rant>

That said, what PRCs are there for barbarians that are in print? Ones that are balanced and seem more feasible. DMG, CW, stuff like that Id like to see. Stuff outta dragon magazine isn't really what im interested in ... at all.

CW has several: bear warrior, frenzied berzerker, (depending on size) hulking hurler, ravager... just to name some of teh more obvious ones in that book.

any idea where i could get a pdf version of those PRCs? I dont have access to a CW right now and dont expect to be purchasing one anytime soon really. If not, could you maybe highlight those PRCs for me? like, requirements and the main benefits of becoming that class?

you can preview the book at amazon.com, can take a look at the PRCs that way, and decide wether or not it will be worth your time. I've come into it pretty recently but fully support it. It has already become an integral part of my parties gaming.

Just out of interest - why not stuff from Dragon? I tend to find it quite useful, and definitely worth my money moreso than a new sourcebook.

and then there is also the rage mage from complete warrior....but it's such a weird class.

thanks wookie

pang- its cause my dm really hasn't told us what can and cant be used, but during character creation only provided core books [most of the guys i play with dont even have a PHB]. I know he will let us use CW, and I know in the past he hasn't liked things from dragon magazine. Thats why :P

There's a prc in races of faerun designed for dwarven barbarians. A lot of cool stuff crammed into a 5lv prc.
