I've encountered some players who rules that if a barbarian character is in a rage and his hit points fall below 0 (becoming unconscious), the rage effect is wiped out so he lose his CON bonus. This means the char is pretty dead when this happen.
The PHB does not mention this thing and till now our group ruled to continue to count the round even if the character become unconscious.
So, what's the right rule to use?

The description of Barbarian Rage says nothing about it ending in any other way than the duration expiring (though I think the Calm Emotions spell may do it, but if it does, it's explicitly said in the spell description). The FAQ, I believe, addressed this recently: The rage continues until its duration expires, regardless of how conscious the barbarian may be. :)

Check Ask Wizards, they covered it.
Basically, no.
