| Aahz08-28-05, 12:50 PM | Should a Barbarian 1/Scout 1 be able to Skirmish while raging? Do they have enough presence of mind to do that? Aahz. |
| Starman IX08-28-05, 01:46 PM | Archery Skirmish? Nah. Charging-In-And-Smashing Skirmish? Yesh. |
| Aahz08-28-05, 01:57 PM | That about what I thought but isn't that rather... potent? Aahz. |
| q'afuu08-28-05, 04:15 PM | Skirmish pretty much means making 1 attack per round. At low levels, you'll only have 1 Rage per day, so it's hardly going to be something you can do all the time. At levels high enough to have 4 rages per day, you'll likely do more damage with a raging full attack without skirmish than with a raging skirmish attack. It's certainly not useless, but it's not all that powerful either. |
| Aahz08-28-05, 04:24 PM | A 1st level Barbarian can take More Rage as a Feat so you would have, I think it's 4?, a day. Aahz. |
| ksbsnowowl08-28-05, 05:08 PM | A 1st level Barbarian can take More Rage as a Feat so you would have, I think it's 4?, a day. Aahz.and that would be a rather wasteful use of your precious few feats. I suppose it would be ok if you only intended to take one or two levels of barb, but there are still better choices, if you ask me. And by RAW, a raging barb could use skirmish at range as well. |
| K_Man08-28-05, 05:24 PM | One level of Barb with Scout is nasty...First, you get more weapons and armor (which I won't open the arguement of whether or not Mithral Breastplate is Light or Medium), HD, Fast Move and Rage. I had one. He was quite nasty. |
| Lord Schpungus08-28-05, 07:31 PM | of course they can. You can't Cast Spells or use Mental Skills. Everything Else is perfectly fine and dandy. If a Barbarian can Sneak Attack while raging (And He Can), he can skirmish while raging. It's that simple. |
| thndraven09-01-05, 04:57 AM | be sure and take "leap attack" with the Barb/Scout combo as well. ;) that way you won't need additional attacks for most enemies. :) |
