Barbarian/Druid? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-08-06, 12:50 PM Is there any sort of prestige class that fits this multiclass theme well?

Basically I'm looking to build some sort of "savage wilderness warrior." The Bear Warrior is the best fit I could find, but I'm looking for something more like "druid that rages" instead of "barbarian that wildshapes," if that makes any sense.

12-08-06, 01:09 PM Aside from a one level dip into barbarian and the rest as druid it would be up to you as the player to determine how the character would act.

Off hand I don't think there is anything aside from bear totem warrior that would fit your concept.

12-08-06, 03:50 PM If you're determined to multiclass, I'm not sure how to help you, but if you wouldn't mind using a Unearthed Arcana class variant, there's the Druidic Avenger (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#druidVariant DruidicAvenger), a straight-classed ragin' druid.

12-08-06, 04:48 PM The Nature's Warrior prestige class might be a good option for this as well. Sacrifice some spellcasting for 5 levels of full BAB and enhancements to your wildshape ability.

Nature's Warrior would have been a good fit as well, but I'm actually looking to design a BBEG around 9th level... so a straight up Druidic Avenger works even better than delving into prestige class.

12-08-06, 07:22 PM Warshaper (same book) may also be quite sweet. Also, since it doesn't improve spellcasting anyway, Master of Many Forms can be a rather exotic variant.

Hah! Duh, I'm an idiot. This is even "cleaner" than the Druidic Avenger.
