Add +10 modifier for barbarian class. 3.) Modify by x if you are wearing med or heavy armor. 4.) Modify if you are encumbered. I'm looking for a formula for x in step 3 for a medium sized creature. I can make reasonable arguments for -10, 3/4, and 2/3. It just doesn't appear to be spelled out anywhere. I can't find a description for how armor modifies movement speed if it is something other than 30 and your size is M. Thanks I apologize if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it in the previous 15 pages. |

Base Speed/Reduced Speed 20 ft./15 ft. 30 ft./20 ft. 40 ft./30 ft. 50 ft./35 ft. 60 ft./40 ft. 70 ft./50 ft. 80 ft./55 ft. 90 ft./60 ft. 100 ft./70 ft. |

This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the barbarian’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn. -------------------------------- That means a barbarian wearing medium armor still gets the +10 to move as long as he's not overburdened by other stuff. |
