Is this one level dip worth it? For a straight Barbarian, I might say no, just because you become immune to your rage's effects at lv17 anyways, but if you plan on going into prestige classes and the like I think this would be a good idea, since this reduces the penalties from "stronger" rages (that cause exhaustion) and give you a lv17 ability at level 6. What do you guys think? As a side topic, what does everyone think of the "Shifting" planar type; granted you have to get to level 6, but doesn't it grant a "Dimension Door" ability every d4 rounds? Thats pretty powerful (although useless for a raging barbarian). |

That's two wasted feats - that one and Endurance - to get a slight bonus. Yeah, that 6th level ability you get from the Horizon Walker is pretty nice. You can even Quicken it 3/day if you spend your 18th level feat on Quicken SLA. It's actually a decent build idea for skill-based Rogues; +4 to all those skills is nice, plus Darkvision if your race doesn't have it. |

I guess you could use a "Horse Totem" Barbarian for the endurance feat, but Knowledge (Geography) still burns one. Yeah, that 6th level ability you get from the Horizon Walker is pretty nice. Plus the competence bonuses to "rogue-skills" aren't too shabby either; the other planar abilities are pretty nice too- 20 resistance to fire or cold. |
| runestar04-17-07, 02:23 AM | There is this regional feat in PGTF called "tireless" which grants immunity to fatigue. You might consider taking that, since it is quite a long way off to lv17.:) |
| FreAkOuTRG04-17-07, 06:30 AM | There is a feat called "Education" that makes all knowledge skills class skills. Good luck explaining why your barbarian is educated to your DM, though... (Well, I can see a few knowledge skills, such as geography, nature, etc) |
| ninjarabbit04-17-07, 10:02 AM | Or you could be a warforged barbarian |
| Aage04-17-07, 01:50 PM | You could of course multiclass 3 levels of ranger, for both know (geo) and endurance... If you feel that it is worth it... |
