| Phase01-19-06, 01:24 PM | I have a lvl 15, Bard 10/ Seeker of the Song 2/ Sublime Chord 3 I was wondering since im not really a front liner, and from multi classing my BaB is pretty lousy, but i dont mind, so i picked up two weapon fighting, and double wand wielder. So i dual wield wands and im a singing *****, attacking with both my wands would be a standard action or a full round? because it takes a standard action to continue 2 songs. thx for any replies |
| CaoSlayer01-19-06, 03:39 PM | ummm, you can sing very powerful songs and you can cast level 8 sorcerer spells... and you are going to waste your actions with wands? okey... using that feat can be useful for buffing, allowing you to use by example improved invisibility and haste in a round... but for direct damage, it sucks, the save will be lousy and you can use spells with a better save (the save of a wand it is 10 + spell level + minimum stat for casting the spell). for ofensive magic, staffs are a far better option because uses your casting level and your stat mod. --- I dont have that book, what saids the feat? surely the text of the feat it is clear, I remember something like that activating the second wand takes two charges from it. |
| Dwalon01-19-06, 03:45 PM | Since activating a wand usually takes a single standard action, if I were your DM, I would rule that activating two wands would take two actions. But I don't have access to that obscure feat, so what do I know? ;) |

| Linklegacy7701-19-06, 04:00 PM | Um, I think it's in complete arcane, not that obscure. |

The spells i have for the wand are orbs of acid/frost, no save, so 30d6 with 2 ranged touch attacks... bards dont get that many spells per day either, so i may have up to 6th lvl spells now, but after buffing this would be my primary damage |
