When I hit level 11 I want to prestige out into something. I spoke to the DM about it and he said that as long as it wasn't a huge shift, I could retroactively alter my character sheet slightly (skills, a feat or two). So my question to you is what would be good pretige classes for me to be interested in? What are the best ones for a bard? |
| CaoSlayer02-14-07, 03:50 PM | Caster bard? sublime chord Singer bard? seeker of the song or virtuoso Melee bard? No prestige. Debuff bard? dirge singer. |
| HxHunter02-14-07, 05:06 PM | Melee Bard: Warchanter (CW), Warrior Skald (RoF) |

Virtuoso and Sublime Chord are also good. It would help if you asked what you were after in terms of abilities. Are you a singer? A caster? A fighty bard? Some combination of the above? |
| mikkelsr02-14-07, 11:47 PM | I'm a full on singer and diplomacy bard. Melee I wouldn't even go into, and at range I can't hit the broad side of a barn with a barn. So something along a singing line, more than likely I'm tossing between Virtuoso and Seeker of the Song. Can anyone give me the main pros and cons of these, and possibly their experience with each class? |

Personally, I seriously recommend troubadour of stars with Words of Creation. You'll be the best vocalist this side of Gakuto, seriously (cookie if you know to whom I refer, lol). |
| CaoSlayer02-15-07, 03:43 AM | the bad thing of troubadour is that is a half-caster prc and really the only thing worth is the holy word as a bard song that is enough to sacrifice the level 6 spells but Im not that happy losing 5 caster levels or 1 and a feat. |
