Ok, so I've played the game for a while but never really used Bards, looking through their abilities I decided I wanted to create a bard that could control droves of people or other targets using its Bardic Music Abilities. Could those of you who know how to play effective Bards tell me if this is a good Prc or if it needs some work.

Melodic Mindbender

Melodic Mindbenders are bards that can use their musical skills to influence the actions of most any humanoid or creature they encounter. Masters of this class can even atempt to use their mind influenceing music on those who are normally immune such effects. Most Melodic Mindbenders covet their powers of music and don't often share, because of this there are very few Melodic Mindbenders in the world. When one of these music masters do share their secrets it usually comes with a steep price, gold, jewels, services, whatever the mindbender desires of their pupil.

Hit Die: d6

Requirements:
A character must fullfill the following criteria to become a Melodic Mindbender.

Alignment: Any non-lawful
Skills: 12 ranks in Perform, 6 ranks in Knowledge (Music)
Feats: Extra Music, Skill Focus: Perform (Any Music)
Class Skills: Same as Bard skill list (p.28 PHB)
Skill Points at each level: 6 + Int modifier

Class Features:
All the following abilities are class features of the Melodic Mindbender prestige class.

Bardic Music: All of the Melodic Mindbenders levels stack with his Bard levels, if any, to determine what bardic music abilities he can use and how often he can use them.

Enchantment Focus: All of the Melodic Mindbenders bardic abilities and spells that involve enchantment/ mind influence, recieve a +1 to their difficulty class. This bonus increase by +1 every three levels after 1st, +2 at 4th level, +3 at 7th level, and +4 at 10th level. This ability does stack with the spell focus: enchantment feats.

Encore: (Su) The abilities of the Melodic Mindbender that function even after the Melodic Mindbend ceases his performance now have their duration extended by a number of rounds equal to his Melodic Mindbenders Cha modifier. The Melodic Mindbender can use this ablility a number of times equal to 1/day per 2 levels of Melodic Mindbender achieved.

Soothe the Savage Beast: The Melodic Mindbender can attempt to use his Bardic abilities on any creature with an Int score higher than 2 (except for undead). How ever if the creature is not humanoid and/or does not speak the language used by the Melodic Mindbender, than the creature recieves a +4 on its saving throw.

Greater Facination: The Melodic Mindbender can attempt to use his bardic ability of Facinate on a number of targets equal to two times his Melodic Mindbender level. This number replaces the number of targets from any Bard levels the Mindbender may have previously had. Except for the number of targets this ability functions as the typical Facinate ability.

Influence: By using 3 of his Bardic Music attempts, a Melodic Mindbender may attempt to influence the actions, of a number of targets equal to half his class level (rounded down). Any sort of action is possible, from thievery, to betrayal, to suicide. The opponent however recieves a +4 bonus to their will save if the action is something they would normally not do. Also the target of influence gains a +! to their will save for each target that the Melodic Mindbender is attempting to influence past the first. The DC for the will save is equal to the Perform check of the Melodic Mindbender. The act of combat near the influenced subject gives the target a chance at a new will save, and a +2 to that save, vs. a new Perform check. This influence last for as long as the Melodic Mindbender continues his performance and for 5 rounds after he ceases.

Harmonic Perfection: Wether posessing a natural immunity or protected by spell, a creature that is immune to any sort of mind influence can become a target for the abilities of a Melodic Mindbender. By spending half of his total Bardic Music attempts for a day, a Melodic Mindbender can attempt to use any of his Bardic or Melodic Mindbender abilities on a creature immune to such abilities. The Melodic Mindbender must first make a caster level check equal to 10+ the creatures CR or class level (which ever is higher). If the Melodic Mindbender fails then the Bardic Music attempts used have been waisted. If the Melodic Mindbender is successfull, then the target of the attempt must make a will save equal to the Melodic Mindbenders Perform check. If the target succeedes then the Melodic Mindbenders attempt has been waisted. If the target fails its Will save then it becomes subject to the ability being used.
