| Grogmir07-24-07, 05:52 AM | Riftdragon! Welcome to the wonderful world of the bard! As you haven’t really given a lot of details I’ll just give you some general advice. Firstly get in a decent headspace – of all the PC’s there’s will SEEM to be more powerful than you, understand your worth and be secretly proud of it. As for Bards, well don’t neglect UMD not much use now but later…. Don’t dump Cha – it will allow you to shine where bards truly do rule, in social situations. Re-read the dip and gather info skills. Dip can be useful even IN combat if your skill is high enough. As for feats – the Splat books will give you a great help. A couple I like are Subsonics – allows you to perform without enemies hearing. This I like to couple with Disguise Spell – allow’s you to cast while also performing. Couple this with sneaky tactics and there’s no reason to even show you face in Melee! Have a look at the Sublime Chord, Seeker of The Song, Lyric Thr-something, these PrC’s all add to the bards power at later levels and could give you some idea on where to take your Bard. Hope some of that helps. Grogmir. |

Don't know much in the way of itemization though, been a while since I played one. You do feel a bit under powered but eh oh well your not meant to be a damage dealer. So welcome your self to the support role / social guru, and just try to have fun. |
