Hello guys!

I am just back from my D&D night and an issue came up during the game. I'd like to share this with you and ask for your advice.

The party was in a hallway trying desperately to get out from a tomb. While some nasty guys was slowly (not so slowly!) destroying Any's web spell, Luvyan, the bard, decided to inspire his fellows with his bardic music class feature. As our ranger has got a companion, a little white tiger, does the bard's ability work as well for the creature? Can we consider it an ally, even though a non intelligent one?

Thanks in advance!

Yep. Also any summoned creatures that can hear, and benefit from mind-affecting effects.

It's a pretty sweet synergy when the Druid pops out a summoned animal or 5, Animal Growths the lot, and then the bard starts singing.

The only thing to watch out for is language dependent effects, which inspire courage is not.
