Bard learning new spells (?) [Archive] - Wizards Community

I feel a bit stoopid having to ask this, but I can't find this in the PH. :confused:

How does a bard gain spells upon reaching a new level?

Does the bard have to "read" the new spell from a book or scroll or do they "come to" the bard in his mind like a sorcerer?

Or is there some other way?

Like a sorceror. They just come to you.
