| Rerednaw08-30-06, 12:08 PM | I only have the SRD at the moment. According to the tables, the Bard has fixed slots on spells per day. The Bard also has fixed spells per level, but a high Charisma score gives bonus spells known. Is this a typo? If not, this makes the Bard the only spontaneous caster that I know of (barring PHB II stuff which I don't have) whose primary characteristics gives bonus spells known instead of extra spells per day (like the Sorcerer). Cheers. |

| FellBlade08-30-06, 01:01 PM | Three Systems for Steve Jackson under the sky, Seven for White Wolf in their halls of stone, Nine for the alternative publishers doomed to die, One for TSR on his dark throne In the Land of WotC where the moneys lie. One System to rule them all, One System to find them, One System to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of WotC where the moneys lie. awsome... just awsome:evillaugh |
| RogueScribner08-30-06, 08:40 PM | I think the confusion comes in with those zeros on the table. If a Bard has a high enough modifier to warrant bonus spells, he can know a high level spell a level before he otherwise would. Else, he has to wait another level to unlock those high level spells. |
