The description of Fascinate doesn't say anything about not being able to fascinate a hostile creature, wanting to harm the bard and his party. It says the following:

"Each creature to be fascinated must be within 90 feet, able to see and hear the bard, and able to pay attention to him. The bard must also be able to see the creature. The distraction of a nearby combat or other dangers prevents the ability from working."

If the hostile creature is on his way to harm the bard and/or his party, there is no actual combat. So is it possible for even a 1st level bard to fascinate a hostile creature? Even possible suggesting him to not harm the party as a brd6?

Darn tootin.

If there's no nearby combat to distract them, they've vulnerable. They could be just about to kill your mother and laugh at you, and they'll get nailed by the Fascinate. It has nothing to do with their feelings towards you.
