A player in my game is playing a bard who wants to bake special cookies and cakes instead of his bard abilites, and gain more healing powers. We already agreed on the divine bard from unearthed arcna so that covers healing but not quite the baking. I'm not quite sure how to handle this, any ideas? Mabye replace perform with profession (baking) and bake bard cookies in advance that duplicate normal bard abilites.

Give the bard the craft potion feat. Its just that your bard uses cookies instead of liquids. Its merely a stylistic change, not mechanical.

"Well, I knew we'd be fighting a dragon today, so I baked chocolate chip this time..."

I'd make it a variation of Brew Potion.

Hehe, I love the idea. Maybe you could combine it with alchemy and allow him to make some poisonous food? Just a suggestion.
